Entertainment During Difficult Times

With all the turmoil with layoffs, buyouts, and stimulus plans, one can be overwhelmed with uncertainty and anxiety. My solution is to simply escape a little with small doses of entertainment. I love movies. History has shown that movies at the box offices are big sellers during troubling times. Hmmm. I wonder why. It's to escape. Simple as that. There are some great movies out there and with the Oscars just airing last night, I got a feel of what's good and what's not so good. Anyway, entertainment can be a good way to cope with everything that's going on. For you video game geeks, keep playing. There always be something wrong with the country. For all you youtubers, keep watching those hilariously videos.

Jazz Up Your Life

"Dream Bluer" Sold

Live your day different. Try something new, anything that will "jazz up your life" or lifestyle. Sometimes we get bombarded with dates, deadlines and schedules that you don't have time to enjoy right now. Well, now is the time. Why don't you try something you always wanted to do today. Read something you always wanted to read. Whatever it is that may give a sense of happiness or help overcome boredom. I would like to ask you to "jazz up your life" by trying someting new. Below is a list for you to read to get your motor running.

1. Paint that idea you have in your head.
2. Read that book that you have been meaning to read.
3. Go to the mall, visit a friend, cruise through the neighborhoods and communities that you would love to live in.
4. Write, sing, dance---- anything that brings you joy.
5. Start something or try something you never done before.

Please comment after you've done one of the following.
