Hey guys, I am getting ready for some new fall art shows. I have three in September and two in October so far. My summer has been awesome. I have been able to spend time with my family. My daughter is growing super fast. I love her. She is truly a blessing. I will be back teaching next month. I am currently working on a site call Art Business Mastery. This site's purpose is to basically help other artists sell their work online and offline. I have had so many artist friends asking for help or guidance and this site can be of some help. I love helping others.
Other than that I have been enjoying life and learning a lot this summer.

- A typical night for the thirty-two old Ahmad R. Austin can be stated in one word: relaxation. In fact, most of his paintings are done at night when his inspiration comes from the sultry sounds of John Coltrane, a popular jazz musician. When Austin ends his workday with his students, he begins a work of exquisite art. Austin states, “It’s almost indescribable how I feel when I’m painting and I hear Coltrane who knows how to make a saxophone talk.” In that same sense, Austin knows how to make his paintings really come alive with the use of vibrant colors and strong brush strokes. Austin shows us how he goes from teaching class to painting jazz. Austin has participated in several group shows and art competitions all across Alabama. Just finish a showing his work in Belfest, Ireland, making him an international artist. One of his works was featured on the cover of an Irish magazine called Imram. Austin does not really focus on a particular jazz artist in itself but a lot on the body movement and facial expression that jazz musicians make when playing jazz music. Austin has touched the hearts of many with his artwork and continues to strive for excellence.
